Pegging Down Area

Modifications

The classroom has individual student desks, centrally located. Learning materials (books, games, manipulatives, files, etc.) and the teacher's desk are arranged around the perimeter of the room. All student desks face the front board for whole class instruction. The desks are set up in pairs but can easily be moved to make groups of three or four. This learning experience includes only sixteen of the twenty-four homeroom students, so it is more practical for the students to move to occupy empty seats, rather than to rearrange the furniture.

The following modifications are available to all students participating in this learning experience.
